Wilderness Club The trip to REI Climbing Wall has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 16th. Time: 3:30 – 5:00pm. Pick up permission forms in G13 this week
Campus Ministry This is the LAST week to turn in your baby bottles for the Genesis Drive. All baby bottles should be returned to Ms. Brinzer in the Campus Ministry Office by Friday, October 10.
NYC Trip Mrs. Streiff will sponsor a trip to New York City on March 13, 14 and 15, 2009. This trip is open to Juniors and Seniors only. In order for the trip to occur, we must have at least 30 students. Prices are consistent with last year’s prices. Further information will be forthcoming.
PSAT On Wednesday, October 15th the PSAT exams will be administered. The cost for registration is $20. Please bring in cash or a check made payable to Oakland Catholic High School to the Guidance Office no later than Tuesday, October 14th. On test day, please bring number 2 pencils and a calculator. More information is available in the Guidance Office.

The OC Book Club will hold its next meeting on Thursday, October 16th at 2:30 in Ms. Kaufmann’s room (208). Meeting will last approx. 1 hour.

FRESHMEN students running for student council are reminded to give Mrs. Benedik their completed forms with teacher signature by Friday, October 10.
Musical Auditions Students who are not in music classes at OC, who wish to audition for Central Catholic’s fall musical may meet with Mrs. Gentile to get a copy, and go over the music any day this week at the beginning of 5A lunch, or at the end of 5B lunch (12:00 noon), in room G17.
Daily Mass Mass is celebrated in our chapel, Monday – Friday at 7:20am.
Picture re-takes will be taken on Tuesday, October 21 in the Study Area. Students must sign up in the main office. If you are having your pictures re-taken, you must bring your complete picture package that day. Students who transferred or were absent on the original picture day should sign up in the office. If you are purchasing pictures, you must bring your payment in that day.
The Science Bowl Team will meet on Tuesday, October 14 in G13. Preparations will be made for the Science Bowl on December 6. Any student in grades 9-12 may attend. See Mr. Rostek in the Chem lab.
